panasonic 1520 E04-01 , i have measure thermostar , heater rod is ok , this error code can reset ? if can how to do it , press function > ?? or need to order thermister to change ? pls help , Thanks all .

The cause could be several things. Dirty or defective thermistor. Blown thermal fuse. Heat lamp. Worn out Hot roller. The machine could be over toned causing fuser issues. Most of the time, it the hot roller is worn.
To reset: Function>Original size>3 sequentially
Go to F9>06>04

I had several thermistors go bad or get covered in cooked toner, then giving E04-01. While you check the fuser, take a look at the press roller bearings, they wear out and give uneven pressure, resulting in jams and E04-01 sometimes. (just turn the bushings around to get some more life out of them).Also, get rid of the filter thats on the fuser fan.
