    Panasonic DP-6010

Had a service call on this machine today and it was throwing a code E04-02. It seems that Intravia guides do not have any info on this machine. Found that E04-01 code to be a warmup problem and checked both lamps and both thermal fuses (good). Understand that there is a reset for fuser codes thru diagnostics... any help would be appreciated. Also, cannot seem to find parts suppliers for this machine. Thanks again, Matt

E4-02 = Jam @ fuser unit.. Possible causes are:
Paper exit sensor# 1 or 2 disconnected or defective.
DRV pcb is disconnected or pcb is defective.
SPC pcb is disconnected of pcb is defective.
( Have also had the sensor flags stick, causing a jam situation.)
        Hope it helps.. Good luck.

            Hi,
I agree with notaricohtek & yakyitz but check the basic things first after clearing the fault code check fuser seperator fingers, build up of toner on the entry guide etc. also check paper tray pick up rollers.

Make sure the exit sensors on the fuser are clean. After you have cleaned the sensors well go to F9 and Ram Initialize then do a LBP fuser reset. That should clear the Error code. If it keeps comming up after you do the fuser reset you need to check into the sensors.

I would check the actuator arm on t he fuser first. They tend to break or crack easily! did they paper get caught or it just stopped?
The machine will pop a E4-02 code after 3 fuser jam.
