I am working on a copier for our animal shelter. The DP-1520p is mis-feeding an extra sheet of paper every time it copies. The registration actuator spring is in place and working. Could it be the registration sensor? Appreciate any help here. The error code Is j31.

Test mode F4-006 will test your rego sensor. Also, even though its obvious, make sure the paper size settings are ok. One of our 8020 lost its settings (F5,F6 were all set to 0 or default, trays to "ledger" ) and custommer called us with this complaint. -
