    DP4520 Fax Setting

Hi All!! Just jumped over here from the Canon forum. I got a new customer that lost his owners manual for this model and is trying to remove the sender name and phone #. He bought it used long ago so someone else's name is in it. I flipped through as much of the user modes as I could, couldn't find anything in the manuals I found online which were difficult to navigate. I thought maybe someone would have a simple procedure or be able to send me an owners manual. I believe the fax guide is a separate manual Thanks!!

Try "Function" , then "fax settings", then key op mode (0000 default) then "user settings"

I believe #2 (Name) and #3 (Number) are the ones you want. The naming is a bit odd now that I think about it.

Here's a printout from an 8060 in our shop for reference. Newer model but still the same thing.

On a Panasonic that old, I believe the default password would be 8 zero's. (00000000).

It's 4 zeros on the older models. It was the newer 80 series that started using 8 zeros I believe.
