DP-C322 ADF/scanning slows to about half speed in middle of job.

I always test the adf's for jamming using the the job build feature in copy mode. That way I can run hundreds of pages thru the adf without making copies. I had run about 1,200 pages thru the adf and convinced I had fixed my J75 issue when the machine slowed down, feeding and scanning only one page at a time and even pausing a second or 2 between pages. normally it starts feeding a second sheet as soon as the first is starting out the exit of the adf. Even when copying it did the same thing. CQ seemed fine and it would go back to normal after I reset power, but after30 or 40 pages it would slow down again, staying that way until I reset the power. I ran an all job clear and it seems to be doing ok , but I am afraid it will return. I reflashed with latest firmware. Any other ideas?

First when testing the ADF you can do it from F8-47, that's the free run mode for the ADF, you can run single sided or duplexed. Next if you are copying from the job build I would imagine the reason your ADF slows is because the memory fills, and it will reduce the speed of the ADF so it can write to the HD.
