    Generic SD Memory in UF-9000?

I need to add a little bit of memory to my UF-9000 for handling scanning and in looking at the standard Panasonic part numbers for add-on memory, it seems unreasonably priced for how little memory it is.

It looks like the UF-9000 is using an SD card. Can I just use a generic SD card like I would for a camera?

    Might not be SD

I think I am wrong in assuming it is a standard SD card. I looked at some sites saying they sold them and the picture was of an SD card with the Panasonic name on it.

It is hard to justify paying $100 for a memory card when I bought the machine used and only paid $200 for it.

Yes it is a sd card slot and it could be used for extra memory but the machine has built in memory anyways i think its 130 pages at any rate i think you dont neeed it i use it for transfering user info from 1 machine to another and its just a standard sd card( if yoy run out of memory the M/C will let you know and it will scan what it can and let you know when you can resume

        Where is the sd slot?

I couldn't find what I thought looked like an sd card slot. Do you know where it is located?

My users say it gives them an out of memory error when scanning to email. The machine says it only has 2mb.

Sorry I forgot you are in the USA and i mixed up the model with the uf 7,000/8000 that take the sd cards.
Thge uf 9000 in the States is our model dp190 up here, you need a flash memory card, they come in 2,4or 8 megs.
