    @Remote

    I've had to put in @Remote codes for 4 machines in the last couple days. Every time I go to put a "letter number" in it already has one in there. So they had one and a couple customers mentioned to me that its always reported the meters and it just randomly stopped. The error is always 8, what is this and is there any way to solve this issue?
    Had to add I already did the "install clear" to remove the number before putting in the new one.

    The usual fix for @Remote faults is to clear the certificate and then initialize it again.

      You need to check SP5-816-208 to what error you have, that will give us more of a clue to what is wrong.

      As Oze says, clearing and initialising the ID2 often works.
      This is what I do first of all if I have problems, SP5-870-003...execute
      SP5-870-001...execute
      SP5-816-209...execute
      Reboot machine.

      On some machines you need to upgrade the firmware too, and often @remote won't register when using SP mode, you need to do it through the WIM

      I hope this helps

        Also, if it was previously on @remote then it will need to be removed from the @remote server before it can be registered again, only just read that part of your post. I would think the error you're getting at SP5-816-208 is -12002 in that case
