    MP161 jams at paper tray

Have an MP161 that is intermittently jamming at the the paper drawer, feeds out about 3/4 of an inch and stops.
Could run 50 pages OK and then the next 10 all jam like that.
Replaced the feed roller and sep pad and even tried another paper drawer, same results.
I have ordered the feed clutch AX200309 but I have never had to replace one so far so I was wondering if others have seen these go bad or there is another cause in addition.

Usually the clutch can just be taken apart and cleaned with alcohol. If it is a high millage machine then replacing is probably best. Clutches are/were a common issue on older black and whites but still can be a pain when troubleshooting adf issues.

Replace the clutch, but also had trouble with the sep pad.

Glad to hear you got it. So often people fix their issue and never get back to the thread to post what actually fixed the problem. Cheers.
