    Pro 906ex strippers

    I saw a post while ago regarding parts change for hot roller strippers but I can't find it again.
    I did full fuser rebuild on one machine but after about 77k papers toner piled up on stripper spurrs causing jams,I used AE04 4067 strippers but I'm preety shure I saw part change regarding the spurrs on strippers...they can't wobble anymore,anyone knows new part number?
    Gears,springs,clutches,sliders,connectors and electronics...who on earth can tell what's wrong with it?

              The TSB you are referring to is #28 released in 2007. The old part number was AE04 4044 and replaced by the new number AE04 4067.

                  Well then I'm not shure how to solve this one,that seemed like a good idea.
                  What can I expect if I detach spurrs entirely?
                  Gears,springs,clutches,sliders,connectors and electronics...who on earth can tell what's wrong with it?

                      The mistake I always made was putting the upper section of the fuser on the lower section with the pressure levers in the pressurized position. When I finally learned to build the fuser with no pressure and then engage them when it was all bolted together, I didn't get the folded corners after a fuser rebuild anymore.

                          Toner build up right? Make sure the cleaning unit is actually working. If the cleaning unit is not working or doing its job then you will get toner floating on the fuser rollers and it will collect on the picker spurs. You can manually increase the rate at which the web is active if needed in service mode.

                          Can also try making sure the fusing temp is correct for the type of job they are running. Toner that isn't fused properly has to go somewhere, either the cleaning unit picks it up or it ends up getting into places it shouldn't.

                              Had a lot of JAm21 with this series, replace the stripper with original ricoh parts, and make sure to clean the plate on every visit.
