    1232C Printer/Scanner kit?

I bought a second hand 1232C believing it had support for scanning and printing. Been searching the net trying to find information about upgrading the machine, but haven't been able to find anything useful so far. I'd appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction. Do I need more than just the interface card for network (part number?) and/or parallel ?

Any idea of what it would cost to upgrade it, or does a member here happen to have something for sale?

The 1232C is a very service unfriendly machine. It is also too old to set up for printing from most modern computers. If the machine copies to your satisfaction, use it in that capability until it doesn't fit your needs anymore, then take it to the dump or push it off a ledge or something.

Haha, I see, thanks! Then I will probably just rip it apart and salvage parts

One of the biggest headaches on the model line is the HDDs. It uses two are they have to be replaced together with drives from Ricoh. The drives are configured by Ricoh and shipped as a set and must each be used in the proper position. You cannot just go out and buy the same make and model drive on the internet, I have tryed.

If you had access to Scan Router Lite, it will support that. Also will support Scan to Email. If it actually is a copier only, the chances of getting a scan/print card are pretty much NILL.

Agree on the service problems with this, had to know all the tricks and expect nothing from these at best.
