    [Error Code] MP 7001 sc 101 sc141 sc142 sc143

    Hi,
I have an MP7001 which is randomly throwing up SC codes 101, 141, 142 and 143 on the logging data, its not showing on screen, however it is showing the 'functional problem please wait and restart' screen! Has anyone had this before, have looked through the manual and i realise its all scan related, seems to be functioning fine for half of the time and the other half its being a pain in the ar$e.

Can anyone point me in which direction i should hit it with the hammer?

    Thanks in advance

Could just be dirty optics, or dirty white plate (white belt)(CIS white roller).

Failing that the try a new lamp and lamp stabilizer.

There is an sp mode for the auto restart function that can be disabled so the machine just puts up the code and doesn't restart after the count to ten on the display. It's in the sp 5xxxx area................

SC auto reboot SP 5875-001, 0 = machine reboots and logs the SC, 1 = Machine stops and displays the SC.

No joy with the CIS white roller, will be trying the lamp and lamp stabilizer next.
