    MP 2500

I found a print driver for Windows 10, but unable to find a custom firmware for scanning to 10. will the 2500 scan to 10? if so where is the firmware for that?

FYI....Any of the PCL driver's for any models will work. You'll notice that they're all the same Version number/filesize from OS to OS for the corresponding model. The only thing you need worry about is 32/64 bit systems
As for scanning, if it has the appropriate firmware for scanning to Win8 installed that is all that's needed. There is no change (as far as I know) for scanning requirements between the 2 versions - at least in any of the models I've tested

believe win7 was the last OS the 2500's could scan to smb/folder. scan to email will still work as long your ISP or mail server doesn't require SSL

hmm, i'd have to go to RFG esource to even confirm b/c on TSRC when you search 2500 it takes you to the 2553 toolbox to even lookup firmware. if there is win8 firmware then you should be good to go for win10........atleast thats been on many of similar size machines like the 2352(which i know is much newer than a 2500, which is a POS) which we've had customers calling for lately after free upgrading to win10 from win7. the win10 free upgrade has to have generated atleast 4calls a day or call walk thru's since microsoft started releasing it.

Couple of "go arounds" for scan issues...If your ISP requires SSL, use smtp2go. works great and easy set up.
And I have used a Go Flex network drive to scan to, and everyone on the network can share the files.

Firmware updates are available for any Ricoh MFP that uses a SD card for updating. If the model was still in production when Windows 8 first released the update is available as a normal update. If not, it is available as a custom update. If you are an authorized Ricoh tech, you can download from either TSRC or rfg-esource.

For those that may not be familiar with where some of the firmware is on the TSRC site, some of the machines have "special" firmware for specific situations (IE, scan to Win 8-10). It isn't in the same section as the regular firmware.
