    C4000 w/booklet finisher

I have a customer that prints a lot of flyers and aside from sending the print job in batches of 25, I can't figure out if/how I can tell the printer to offset every 25.

You create a 25 page document, select shift sorting, and then just type in the number of sets (quantity) required.

Of coarse you cannot shift sort centre folded/stapled booklets.

Cipher's way may or may not work the way you are hoping. My guess is that your flyers are probably folded or stapled or not just single page, so if you had a single file that contained 25 flyers it would fold or staple them all together. But that is the only way to manipulate the shift roller. The shift is either on or off. It will shift after every page or after every unit (eg. 5 page stapled document would be 1 unit). They only adjustment that is done on the shift roller is in printer SP 1001-002.

These are just double sided singles.

If the customer is wanting to print say 500 flyers that are all the same and wants to separate them into sets of 25 for wrapping, change the job type in the printer properties from "Normal Print" to "Document Server". They can then print them 25 at a time from the document server.
