MP c3503 Locked Out! 30 Year Veteran Tech, looking to skip NVRAM!

Hey Guys, I have a MP c3503, I just bought yesterday, I have worked on copiers since 1986, message me for the details. I can buy the NVram, I don't care about the $, my customer is waiting for there new machine, I know all the normal admin & Sup channels, I'm not working for a dealer currently because they don't pay enough. I have 30 Factory certs and I have forgotten more about copiers then most tech's know. If you can help fine, if not that's okay to. I worked at Savin Coastal Valley, it closed years ago and I was trying to find my friends Raymond, John, Tim, Rick, etc... We worked for Phil, I worked for 3 other dealers but the only other tech I'm looking for is John Shouse, he was working for Canon in Arizona when I lost touch.

Thanks for the run down on yourself, but what do you actually asking?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Read Between the Lines! ll/55ez3ni5, or something? there is a backdoor to Admin, I lost my paper with the dam code. I'm also saying it's not admin1 admin supervisor, blank / blank or bla bla bla. I knew it might not be able to figure out, my supplier is paying for the nvram, it's my fualt for losing the code, If NVram is my only solution I will order it today.

I can't argue the Weird part, yes I tried supervisor , no password. There is a OEM password that broke through everything, but I misplaced it. It was random like zzid/9mm3kd, when a coworker tried it and it worked I was blown away. Then I lost it recently.

I'm not sure there could be a more obnoxious statement prior to asking for advice from the rest of us apparent dummies!
I'm NONE of the dudes you're looking for, So I guess that means I can't help
Seems I'll be adding 1 more 'cone' to my collection. (That's for 'Iowatech'!! )

              Best of luck!

We could certainly have Paul (Just Manuals) input here, if he were available.

What a terribly nice way to say he's an a$$hole.

                  I con-occur with your analysis.

I looked at his profile. He says he is 58 and has been in the industries since 1986. I am 67 years old and have been in the industries since March of 1972 when I got odd active duty in the US Army. I started working on Ricoh machines while everything was analog. I have never heard of a "backdoor to admin". If there is it would have to be by hacking the OS directly which is not possible through the front panel or WIM. He is a lurker with only 4 posts, 3 on this thread and the other not even listed so it must have been a couple of years ago. Just another low life taker for us to ignore.

Copier Tech's are a strange group of guys, I didn't feel like spending a month in this forum to fix a locked out machine, so the CUSTOMER could get a Copier they need. I am truly sorry if I bothered anyone with my original post, but I don't know how else to say "I'm a Tech in a Rut" Maybe I could have just said that. LOL. I've turned a million screws, read a million pages, restrung a 1000 corona's, done a 1000 ride a longs, and I didn't want to beat around the bush. Thanks for the support, I couldn't figure it out without Your help. I also went with Sharp brand for about 10 years, and I lost touch with my Ricoh friends when our dealership went belly up in Ventura CA.

Guys, I'm newbie on this forum, had a lot of help trough here, I know how to help this guy, but I'm afraid if I do, maybe I'm helping someone who don't deserve that help. I'm pretty new on this so I can be made of fool easily, if someone like slimsbob or tonerbomb or iowatech, who has much more experience than I, tell me that I can help him, I do.

It's Unlocked, No NVram, Thank you for helping out, my original post was my way of saying I get the Black Ops mentality, but I am not the end user. I have always Loved being a Tech, but my loyalty is to my customer, not a Manufacturer. But Ricoh's are pretty Awesome.

"OUCH!" I guess I have that coming.

I had been reading so many posts and I think I was feeling a little defensive, and some IT guy put this machine in major lock down, I wasn't trying to be an A-hole, just saying I put in my time, that's all. Iv'e turned so many screws. The only thing that is original in my toolbox is my Fluke, Iv'e worn everything else out.

"I am Sorry for the Disrespect" I have got along with every tech I have ever worked with. But I guess I need to work on my writing Skills.
