      Check your fuser, could be bad/dirty thermistor, or one of the lamps could be bad.........

          I don't recall ever seeing an MP1100.

          Dirty fuser thermistor ???
          Try cleaning any built up toner off the fuser thermistor.
          Don't forget to use care when cleaning any old thermistor as you can damage it.
          I'd take a spare thermistor with you incase.
