Yes it is relialble, we have 100 machines installed, only SC 400 issues.

This is a big qualifier, but very important, especially in terms of color volume.

You try to run this machine doing a lot of full bleed color, it won't hold up that well.

You can crush it in terms of black and white prints/copies and not really run into issues. Color is another matter and make sure you use only OEM toner or you will be very sorry. (I had a customer be sorry to the tune of several thousand dollars trying to take shortcuts on toner and not having the drums/developer make 30K).
