MP C2551 Scan

Hi all

have a MP C2551 which has recently been cleared down and had a new nv ram fitted. My problem is when scanning, when you scan something it takes it through memory sits at 99% when I go into the log it just says waiting. ?? I have also noticed that unlike any other ricoh's the green light on the connector is not on but the orange one is. machine prints ok can ping it and use the ping command in the machine just seems to be waiting on a return signal. Any help would be appreciated

are your scanning to folder or email? if folder then you have to check firewall settings on windows and antivirus,make sure that the folder is shared properly.What is your OS?

It should make 3 attempts to send before giving an error. As soon as it errors, go to User Tools - System Settings - Interface and print the settings. The last page should contain recent comm errors. Look for lines with SMB or SMTP depending on whether it was folder on email scan. Google the error code.
