    MP5001 cuting copy to A5

One MP 4000 when using combine option prints out a copy with both faces of small original nicely placed on A4 one is up and one is down, but there is one MP 5001 that cuts the copy,or should I say scans original only as far as A5 sensors go on scanner.
it's not a problem if user place small item on glass such as copy of ID card's both faces but if it's a bit larger scanner don't go past A5 sensors in scanner.
Now flipping originals on glass other way around is out of the question...user said :"Fix them so they work same way I don't care"
From what i noticed scanner scans full lenght up to A4 marker on ruler only if DF cower is up and I place paper over the A5 sensors,I cleaned optics and vacumed those sensors, checked DF cower sensors and it all seems to be fine.
Using full size or auto reduce enlarge options doesn't make any difference, could it be some setting or meybe machine needs firmware update,I can't determine if it's the DF cower that's confusing the sensors or is it the original size sensors that's faulty...machine asks for A5 paper even if A4 size paper is placed on glass...some confusing dumb ass trick that I'we newer had to face with before, meybe some smudges on the cower right around the place that goes over the A5 sensor?
Gears, springs, clutches, sliders, connectors and electronics...who on earth can tell what's wrong with it?

It appears that solution is to turn off Shade correction combine or something like that in System/Copy settings...that facedesk moment.
