    ricoh 1045 sc690

    now my machine tells me when i open it code error sc690 please help me and tell me what is the problem and how to make it
    i know from the manual that it is bicu i dont know what is it and where please tell me and i tryto make it

      This means an error is detected in the GAVD communication I2C control register of the GABIC2. The I2C bus on BICU is probably defective. Unless you are into board level repairs, it looks like you might need to replace the BICU.

              I've seen this fault before when the ribbon cable to the laser ass. has been refitted upside down.If the laser has been removed immediately before this error I would check that.
