Hi if the print job are ok and its only copies with the fault check the white calibration plate on the exposure glass the glue melts leaks out
and is pick up by scanner. Re Ricoh TB RM096012

Check the white level strip under the platen glass, it starts to lift off and goes grey in places causing the CCD to over adjust to compensate.At least 50% of IT is a solution looking for a problem.Comment

If this is a problem that only shows up when using the copy function, you probably need to clean the optic better. Try giving the SBU a good blast of air from a can.
For what it is worth, I'd recommend not using too much of an alcohol based cleaner when cleaning the optics. If I understand it correctly, the shiny part of the mirrors in the optics are aluminum based, and too much alcohol can be pretty destructive.Comment
