RICOH SPC250sf Pale prints

I've just set 2 of these machines brand new out if a box and both have the same issue. The first page out is really pale, both prints and copies are the same. The first page is very pale and subsequent pages are fine.

Anyone help?

Update - spoke to Ricoh and they are sending replacement machines and collecting these two but wouldn't admit they knew of any problem

It doesn't need to be any known problem. If you have an out of box problem that they do not have an immediate solution for, they will replace. That way they can have engineering research the machine and may be find what the problem is and have a correction for the next person with the same problem. Back when they were having the touch screen problem, I was one of the first to experience the problem. They sent me a complete control panel and had me sent the old one to engineering for testing. A couple of months later, they announced the touch screen replacement program.
