    English, please.
    Dear,

This is to please ask for their support and help.

I have a photocopier Ricoh Aficio MPC 4500 with error SC 290, Segui several posts in the forum relating to the error and follow the instructions given.

Turn off the engine and remove the small metal arm that operates the sensors that open and close the shutter.

It is necessary to reset the error?

Any idea continues to show me the error SC 290.

    Greetings!

Leave the arms and springs on, just remove the shutter itself to avoid a sc code.

I think I am confused when you mean shutter, in this case would be the engine? You will have a referential image shutter please!

This code does not appear in the service mode. Only the following codes in 2914:

001 open delay time, delay time close 002, 003 Sutter open, 004 Sutter close

                  1. Check or replace the harness.
                  2. Replace the shutter on the laser optics housing unit.
                  3. Replace the shutter motor.
                  4. Replace the shutter close sensor.
                  5. Replace the IOB

Place the shutter assembly! It is difficult to remove? Will have at hand the steps to do? I'm tired of looking for technical and would not solve the problem. You have helped me with their advice, thank you very much!

OK, here's my last attempt at help on this.
                          1. Open the manual to the replacement and adjustment section
                          2. Remove the laser assy following the procedure in the manual
                          3. Remove the big metal plate on top of the laser assy, leave the springs and arms attached
                          4. Reinstall the laser assy
                          5. If this was what was actually causing the code, the job is complete
