    MP C3003

don't deal with many of these. copy off glass and adf are light, prints are good. I changed density on copy and background started going dark. but the text was still light. has 250k. per the product support guide, dev is good for 600k and drum good for 400k or vice versa. any ideas on the light copy part. seems drum and dv should still be in spec, but I've seen on other models (b&w) that the developer powder going bad.

    thanks

This is a common occurrence when dust has built up on the mirrors in the scanner or when Auto Color Calibration was not done during setup or following a firmware update.
    1. Turn the machine off
    2. Clean all the mirrors in the scanner
    3. Turn the machine back on.
    4. Run Auto Color Calibration (all)
