[Misc] MPC306ZSPF / Smart OP Panel / Cheetah-G2

Hey guys

Had one of the new MPC306ZSPF arrive in the workshop today with the new Cheetah-G2 smart operation panel running Android..

So it seems OK. I do have a few questions i can't find answers to just yet. What issues/tricks have you guys come across with this model?

Can you install android APK games etc on the device? - totally unnecessary but can it be done
Can you set one of the home screen pages as the default?
Can the configuration of the op panel/home screen config be upload and re-uploaded to another device - too speed up run ups, or for use when upgrading a customers machine..?
Can apps be individually disabled, not removed.

The default screen is fixed. You can however drag and drop from one screen to another.

The default screen can be programmed for any of the functions copy, scan, fax, quick copy... If user authentication is running each user can have their own default screen with apps, widgets, wallpaper...

Ricoh learning center has a Smart Op Panel V2 training course available. It has a lot of information on the connectivity and maintenance of the SOP.
