Ricoh aficio mp2550 series light copies

HI, I'm having a problem where the transfer unit door causing gradually light copies. At first, I thought the light copies are from PCU. lastly checked is the transfer unit door(whole set) changed then only solved the case.
But what I'm confused is the transfer unit, I don't know what is causing the light copies coz i try to change each of the parts or try cleaning them also won't solve the problem unless whole unit change including the white cover for installing the transfer roller. I wanna know what's wrong with the transfer unit?anyone met this problem before? pls help..

If the copies are light and the prints are ok, rebuild the PCU (Developer, Drum, Cleaning Blade Brush Roller, Charge Roller). That will solve it.

AS I mentioned, i've verified the problem is the TRANSFER UNIT(WHOLE SET INCLUDING THE WHITE COVER), not the PCU. i just need to find out what's the main cause of the transfer unit faulty because i've changed every each of the part i could one by one but still couldn't find out what's the faulty part unless whole set transfer unit change....

I have no idea why but this was still happening as late as the 3352.
We had one do it this week....took a HV pcb a BCU and a transfer door to the machine and the transfer door fixed it.
It MIGHT be to do with the fact that the density sensor fails...because we did a crash stop and the image on the drum was as dark as....but the output copy was pale.
