    Pro c5100 Banner Setting

    Hi

Does anyone know how to set the bypass so you can put it in Banner mode, to print a long sheet. I have gone to custom but the limit is 487mm

Sorry if this has already been asked but I cant see it.

    Thanks

    Tim

      Re: Pro c5100 Banner Setting

From looking at the Operator Manual and the print driver help file, it appears that the Banner Page Print mentioned in the Product Support Guide refers to the banner separator page that the driver can insert in front of print jobs to identify the job (Document Name, Source Computer, Logged In User, etc). I am not aware of any thing other than a wide format printer that can print continuous banners. Many years ago, Ricoh did make some roll fed FAX models that had a "Well log" option that allowed sending oil well logs up to 42(?) feet in length. Major pain keeping the originals from walking to one side.

        Re: Pro c5100 Banner Setting

        Hi Slim

the Pro 5100 and 5110 can do a length up to 1000mm in length. I managed to get the manual setting to do it but I can work out how to set it up as a custome size. That limits me to the 487mm. I had made banner mode active in the SP which I heard about under custom paper sizes in the engineers mode but still can't work it out for the computer side. I have heard of a way to set it up I must go through the threads here to see if I can find it again.

        Thansks for getting back.
