    [Jamming] Ricoh mpc 6502 j001 jam code

    Hello everyone,

    Can anybody help me for my MP c6502 machine always showing paper jam at D2 of the fusing unit? already spent much time for troubleshooting still the jam code coming, before that I clear the memory of engine.
    Then this jam code occur. Is it a software problem or engine resetting?

      Jam code J001 is a jam found at power on or when all the doors/drawers are closed. Check the jam history to see where the last true jam was located.

          Why did you clear the engine?? Did you reenter the data from the birth certificate or the non default data printed before engine clear??

              There's a sensor in the fuser area which goes out of wack . You need to locate a setting in SP mode 1 which recalibrates the sensor and all will be good again. I think this procedure is covered in the service manual or training material. somewhere. Just can't remember exactly which SP. think SP 19?? Something
