    [Error Code] Ricoh MP-C2500 SC-491

I have checked all the harnesses for all the drum\dv units, replaced the T\S roller. the book also said it could be a high voltage unit but I don't know if they are referring to the one for T\S roller or the one in back of machine. Or could it be something else that is causing the sc-491 code.

    Please help!!!!!!

SC491 is High Voltage Power - Drum/Dev bias output error

check pcu's & paper transfer unit
    then:
    1. Check or replace the harness.
    2. Replace the drum unit or paper transfer unit.
    3. Replace the high voltage supply unit.

        • High voltage leak
        • Broken harness
        • Defective drum unit or development unit
        • Defective high voltage supply unit

Could be HV voltage unit but----------
Usually drum or dv unit is bad. Try replacing the dv units and PCU's. They have probably exceeded their life. Also, Make sure the connector on the front of the drum units is seated correctly. As a last resort, replace High Voltage unit.
