ricoh aficio mp w2400 screen problem become a real problem after screen board changed

i had a problem with screen of aficio mp w 2401 one day it went all blank the touch screen was working but i , not able to see anything !
a freelancer technician came and fixed the problem by changing the screen board by an other on he had , it worked and the client is able to make copy and everything ;
but the language was changed and i wasn't able to change it back and the parameter menu is all missed up i can't change nothing there some menus are blank but when you click there is parameter inside for example when i need to change the 'network ip' i need to click on 'paper size'
jam codes and alerts are not showing will either !
any body has an idea why is it the board that changed or the machines needs a new firmware ... ? also i think i need to update the firmware anyway

Sounds to me like it's the wrong board, but whatever the case, you paid someone to help you fix the machine, and he has not.
It would seem to me that your issue should be with your freelancer
