I saw that you replaced the collection bottle and the suction pump, but have you replaced the tubing from the development unit to the suction pump. They have a white Teflon coating on the inside that eventually wears away. If the coating has worn toner will stick to the inside wall of the tube and create a blockage. This will in turn cause toner hazing from the development unit as pressure builds up.
I don't know if I mentioned this before, but if the customer is using a booklet finisher, multi-fold unit or any other finishing option where the 9000 has to wait for the finishing option to complete before starting the next set, the development unit sits there spinning while waiting. This will contribute to excessive toner gassing.
I'll check the tubes on Monday, thx. Hes they have a booklet finiher but they didn't use the booklet options... They print only books
If by printing only books you are referring to the GB5000 Perfect Binder, the 9000 has to pause while the signature stack is moved from the sub grip to the main grip and the cover sheet is fed. If the page count of the book is not sufficient for the gluing and trimming to complete before the complete next book has finished entering the sub grip an additional pause is created. It is during these pauses that additional toner hazing can occur.
I would suggest to test good working development unit your machine Sir... doctor blade may tend to have a higher gap in a long run or your lower mag roller at dev unit had weaken causing excess toner. The bias is also applied to the lower casing to prevent toner from being attracted back from the drum.
fix the customer first then fix the machine... its simple and makes life more easy.
check your cleaning unit maybe its hard to rotate, or check your developing unit shafting MAYBE YOUR DV SHAFTING IS WORN OUT. AND CLEAN all the filters near the drum unit and fusing unit.
check and clean filter at back of machine as well as filter beside the fusing unit...
i had a 8001 and dropping the voltage on dev was a good cure for low volume acct helped prevent that little dust cloud forming inside the machine...
clean or replace dev filters now remember if you swapped a new assembly in it doesn't come with filter and filter plates that will cause immediate dusting
