    REPLACEMENT OF PSU OF MP5000 with SP8200DN

    Hi,
    MP 5000 's PSU is not available with me,but I can easily arrange PSU of SP8200DN(G179) from a used parts vendor.Is it possible to swap SP8200's PSU with the faulty PSU of MP5000.
    Please advise.

      Power supply for the SP8200DN might not provide power, CN912, for the SIO scanner/ADF portions of the MP 5000. Other than that, the point to point appears the same.

          Once I had no luck with SPC820PSU -> MPC4000 so I wouldn't bet it works within the b/w family.
