    Ricoh mp4000 DF3010

    Hello there,
DF3010 is making little dog ears, mostely on rear side of the paper, when scanning duplex originals.
    single die is no poblem.
I have this problem with al our machines in the field!
Is it something i do wrong?
    Greetings,
    Mark

most of the times the originals get skewed along the way and end up bumping on one of the spacer nibs on the guides.
Some cut of these spacers, but it's better to look at the source of the skew.

There is a small modification where you put some spacer rings between the left hinge and the two springs. this is to make sure the rear left side of the df is close enough to the exposureglass.

I have cleaned the paperpath, all sensors en rubber rollers extremelly well. The scanning glas is placed in the right way (dot front, left).
I have tested it afterwards: the dog ear is now smaller and the frequency of it much less often.
But it's not totaly solved: sometimes it works fine, and then - for apparently no reason - paper get's his dogy ears...

          So you slide it off?
And which part or spot exactly?
(i mean the guide, not the poor little girl who appears to be spanked?)

Normally in the corner at the back. sometimes by pushing down on the feeder at the hinge or try replacing the guide plate
