    MPC4000 BICU board error

    Hello,

    As cause of a bad polygoonmotor the BICU board has "blown".
    Does anyone know what part of the BICU board must be repared when
    this happens, or is it just ordering a compleet new board ?

      There have been a few threads on this problem. At least one of them hard how to repair the BICU on a B/W model. Unless the person who posted that sees this thread and reposts it, you need to do some searching.

          Check the tiny zero ohm resistors around the power connector on the bicu (connector with thicker cables from psu) - one will be blown. This was the spot for MPC2800 bicu - nut shure if the MPC4000 one is designed much different.
