    [Misc] Control Panel Simulator

    Might be a silly question but I take it there's no such thing as a Control Panel Simulator. As in a PC programme that will allow you to navigate the various options of a control panel.

    If not why not lol - must be easy enough to do I would think.

    I know Konica have a small simulator through some of their manuals but don't know anything about the RICOH. I'm worried about the new Smart Operational Panel and trying to offer support on this product in the future.

          well for starters get your self an android tab and get very familiar with it. Then Ricoh has on line training for the SOP here in the states, don't know what they have across the pond.......................

              We have some Point Of Sale Register companies here in OZ that have online simulators.
              From a sales point of view its a good idea. I've actually sold machines to customers using the online simulator as the demonstration machine.

                  I remember seeing something in an online training course about an app that allows someone to connect over the network and observe what is displayed on the screen. Do not know if it was just a JAVA app or if it required SOP. Probably the later.

                      Samsung had a GUI simulator for the SCX5935fn, which was very helpful for on-line help; unfortunately, the app no longer works.

                          Would you gents be able to share the resources you have, with training in mind. I have heard of training but cant find it as yet, will keep looking.
