Hi, can the Ricoh MP2501SP perform scan to SMB to a Shared Folder which is on a Computer running Windows 10?

Yes, provided that you have it setup properly at both ends. Firmware should not be as it was introduced after Windows 8.

You may need to create a local standard user account to use for authentication, and it should have a password. Give it write permissions (at least), to the folder on both the Sharing > Advanced Sharing > Permissions, and Security tabs. It you are on a domain you can use a domain user, but you should qualify it with 'username@domain' or 'domain/username'.
