    sp5200 "close cover"

    hi everyone

    i have a sp5200 with a message asking to close the rear cover.

    there are 2 micro switches on the rear where the cover contacts. the cover makes full contact with the switches. manually pushed switches and message does not seem to rectify.

    micro switches have been changed. micro switches are directly connected to the engine board. ENGINE board has been replaced with no effect.

    i have a PSU on order but just wanted to know if there is anything else that can cause this.

    printer is only 4 weeks old.

      I've had this fault twice and both times it was the PSU.

              I also had the same error with close cover for rear cover. And I can confirm it was the psu. It's a waste of time to check the micro switches and the wire harness. The problem is that the +24V is missing from the psu.
