we have installed a new mp 6054 last week and now it is coming up with sc673 and you cant get into sp mode the only info i can find idicates a serial number error or incorect type of opps pannel set in sp mode???? anyone seen or has any info on this error code as the manuale is a bit light on info

Maybe the wrong type of firmware for for example the smart operating panel has been accidently loaded. I believe it still works with it but do eventually start to get wierd issues. I would try loading a fresh set of firmware in a sd card and try to see if you can reload it. Just a guess

System/copy firmware, see the text attached to this firmware update.
Firmware must be loaded after engine firmware, power off power on then do sys/copy, and all other fw in sequence otherwise it wont accept it.Comment

Thanks guys we tried controler board and rams as advised by tec support and they have agreed to service exchange it the copier was brand new and no body had tried to do any firmware the machine just came up with the fault at the customers.Comment
