    MP C5000 unsufficient Fusing

When 100g/cm3 (3,6 lbs/in3)paper is used, the fusing is unsufficient at least on the first copies after wake-up. Setting higher temperature and fuser idling before job did not solve the problem completely.
Setting the paper as middle thick did solve the issue, but in this case the finisher staples not more than 16 pages together. The slower MP C3000 did not have this problem with the same paper.
Is it possible to set "thickier" plain paper as in the 3228-series copiers or to change the stapling limitation?

So like, what's the PM counter saying for the fuser?

it is not the wear issue, all of the 5 MPC5000s I have, have the same problem (it is not a fault, it is a feature)

What type of toner are you using? I've been burned by aftermarket crap in a similar fashion back in the day, and this sounds a lot what happened then.
I honestly apologize if you are using Ricoh toner. You're on your own otherwise. Sometimes changing the paper type in user tools or the print driver can help, but not always.
