    MP2851 Hot Roller Vs. MP2852 ?

I haven't disassembled the MP2852 fuser to look at the Hot roller up close, but the fusers seem identical, and even though they have different P/N's, the hot rollers look identical as well, from what I can tell.
Is there any reason that the 2 rollers aren't interchangeable? Particularly the MP2852 being used in the MP2851, MP2550, etc.? Because, for some reason, my cost on the newer one is about 30% less

    Thanks!

      Thanks for that.
It turns out that there was an error in my pricing, so the cost difference is negligible, but it's good to know just the same.

          Hi there!
We use since years only the hotroller of the 1022/27 for the RUSSIAN- & ORVAL-series without any problem.
          Greetings...
