It sounds like a paper type/size mismatch which is causing the issue. Are all the trays locked down? (Auto paper select turned off). As a test go to user tools-printer features-system- auto continue- turn this off and then try and print the job. If there is any conflict it should tell you where the problem lies. Eg please load letter in tray 4.

Set "Auto Continue" to 1 minute; "User Tools"->"Printer Features"->"System" tab

This will give you a chance to view what the machine's issue is, as above is probably a paper type/size mismatch.
