    [Misc] aficio 2851

    i have a 2851 that appears to have i.p. filtering turned on i can ping it but can t print to it or log on with the web browser.
    any ideas.
    can print with usb how ever

      Sounds like the NIC setting (SP5985-1) is set to "2" (limited).
      It should be set to "1" (on)

          try this:

          user tools: system settings: interface settings: and look for something called 801.11b or something similar. make sure it is off or inactive.

              Access control could also be enabled. Switch it off in interface settings.
              It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
