    Ricoh Aficio MP C4500

There are color strips on the page when I print first, these stripes fade away after several prints, but it comes again after I restart or when I stop printing for a while.
I've attached an example that shows magenta and yellow strips but other in other prints there is cyan strip also.
I haven't done anything yet and I don't know the cause except the electricity current is weak and cuts off several times a day

That machine's transfer belt cleaning blade got tired of cleaning calibration patterns from transfer belt, there should be a blue collored smudge also but I think there's no pattern to it,it happens random.
And I beleve that's a copy so optics needs some cleaning, there's a thin blue line on the lower half.

                Thanks to you all.
I don't think the problem is from drum units because like I said before in other prints there is the three strips, cyan magenta and yellow and this problem happened all happened at once.
Do you think I should replace the entire cleaning unit or only the cleaning blade.

                thanks for your answers again.

I'm not realy sure there is OEM cleaning blade as spare part unless you find some "For use" parts.
Go with the Cleaning unit it's not very expensive and it's durable...it's PM life is around 160k pages.

J usually replace the entire cleaning unit. However, I do not believe that it will completely correct the problem. The ID pattern would be a series of squares close to both edges of the paper and down the middle. The pattern that I am seeing is usually from a dirty charge roller or from toner building up between the cleaning blade and the lube spreader blade as the result of a worn lube bar.

Blade and brush roller were available from Ricoh. After time spent replacing them the cost savings were lost.
