    Scan to folder on OSX

As twain scanning has been dropped in OSX, is it relatively straightforward to set up scan to folder on a Mac running OSX?

They are scanning to email at the moment but their emails are hosted and a bit flakey so network scan to folder would be great.

    Any publications or guides available?

+1 on FTP. Universally supported and always works. Simple to set up too.

Depending on machine model and OSX version, firmware update might be needed. Also, check other threads on this subject. I think there was one that mentioned that Apple dropped SMB support. A utility software was mentioned that restored it.
