Activating Air Print Ricoh MP C5503

What is involved in activating airprint on a Ricoh MP C5503? Apparently there is some kind of certificate required.

go into user tools, system settings and let the machine create it's own device certificate. If you have the SOP use the wifi connection not the wifi direct connection that you would use for the smart device connector app. The I device and the machine have to be on the same network.

And if the network that the MP C5503 is connected does not have WIFI, they will need to install a WIFI access point. Ricoh does have other meas of printing from an internet connected device.

You are correct!! and that AP would be how the I device connects to that network..............

Then there's ICE and hotspot printing also..........
