    [Electrical] ricoh 1018d

I need an older engineer l think for this one. Had to go to Customer with Ricoh 1018d very old machine havn't seen one before but insists he wants it fixed. SC541 error. Found suggestions on line to replace thermistor which l have done however when l have gone to reset sc error, wont let me, just flashes up error in display. Any ideas?. One or two suggestions about power supply or main board, shouldn't think they are available though. Any help as always appreciated

The older models have a very odd reset procedure. Excerpt from service manual attached.

It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.
