    SR 3150 SC721-42

Anybody seen this one? The manual says its a Stapler Displacement Motor error but neglects to tell me were the Displacement Motor is! It could be the motor that moves the motor back and forward or it could be the motor that removes the paper from the stapler. I wish they would check what Google translator came up with before they publish the manuals.

This is a very intermittent fault on a copier that's in a coal mine Back o' the Black Stump so it's a bloody long drive to replace the wrong motor and have to go back again so any insights would help.

Thanks Slimslob, how did you work out that was the Displacement motor?

Went to the Replacement and Adjustment portion of finisher section of the service manual and searched displacement.

I tried that but didn't find a thing. You must get better manuals then we do.
Anyway, thanks for your help, much appreciated.
