    Jam Code 193 on a B805 Finisher

The paper exits halfway out of the finisher exit assembly then stops and the exit motor starts buzzing like it's laboring. The exit motor was replaced, but the results are the same. The finisher is attached to a MPC4000 copier.

Did it work before or is this a new installation?

I would update all the firmware including the finisher itself. I see there have been issues with finishers and firmware issues as of late.

The symptoms you describe also don't sound mechanical to me - more than likely a logic/timing issue.

It worked before, the finisher FW was updated, but not the MFP, I'll try that

The problem is resolved! The wiring harness wires for the exit motor were pinched and arcing.
