    MP4000B SD card

    Does anyone have a good working SD card for the MP4000B print controller. I keep receiving the message SD card fail to authenicate and I have the latest firmware. Bad card seems to be the only thing left

      MP 4000B is the basic model. Factory configures it has no print function. Check if there is a HDD installed in your machine. If there is not, it will only support the RPCS Printer Unit Type 5000, EDP Code 414381. The Printer Enhance Option Type 5000 EDP Code 413948 adds PCL printing and a HDD. If you have the Printer Enhance Option Type 5000 or the Printer Scanner Unit Type 5000 SD card installed without a HDD, that could be your problem. In that case, install a HDD. Otherwise you will need to order the SD card from parts.

      D3815061 SD Card PCL Upgrade. Cannot be used alone, must be moved to the RPCS card which then becomes a Printer Unit card.
