    MPC2500 cannot print color

    Hi,

    I have an Ricoh MP C2500 that cannot print color pictures but can copy/photostate color. Tried to change BICU board, install different printer drivers ( pcl6 universal print,universal driver v4.8, RPCS ) updatedIMG_20160130_081631394.jpg latest fIMG_20160130_081623361.jpgirmware but all still cannot solve the problem.

    Any enlightenment would be very much appreciated and thank you.

      Check User Authentication Management in either User Tolls or WIM. It could be turned on and only set to restrict color printing.

          Hi...user authentication management under printer is set as pc control and do no restrict...i tried both but still cant print color

              If you are not using user codes, it should be "OFF".

                  This may sound stupid, but there is a checkbox in the driver that reads "Print as greyscale" which will throw away all colours irrespective of other settings.

                  Are you printing from more than one pc and getting the same results?

                      are you definatley using the MPC2500 Driver and NOT the MP2500 driver
                      on the front page of the MPC driver in bottom left hand corner you can select color or black and white

                          Pay attention to the driver. MP C2500 and not MP 2500 (this one is a black and white machine)
