All print jobs go to "hold"

Hi All, got a chewy one here:

I've been working with on-site IT on this and can't find a resolution:

The site has about 15 users, all printing to the same device, an MP C3002, through the same server-shared driver, but, one user's jobs all go to the hold queue.

Up 'til now we've; ensured that the "job type" is defaulted to "normal" and deleted the driver and all *.inf associated and re-installed, both locally and the share.

This hasn't changed anything, the site is quite a drive and we have freezing rain here so am loathe to head over there without a possible remedy in hand, anybody got anything?

    TIA, Tim

try to delete the local and network printer in the registry. Then install new printer driver.

I'm not sure if the 3002 has this setting, but see if theres a 'Hold all errored print jobs' in Printer Features Menu. I think the xx03 machines have it.

I don't work on this model machine.

        Assuming User Authentication is Active:
Sounds like users Authentication password PIN is incorrect.
Go to the problem PC and reset the PIN code or give it a new PIN code at the MFD.
Also check for user colour ,b/w, print, copy, scan settings locked out from the WIM.

By hold queue is that on the print server or on the MP C3002? If it is on the C3002, check the error log to see if it has error messages logged for that user. If there are check what the message is as it should tell you why the C3002 is holding the job.

            Update:

Deleting all registry keys and re-installing the shared printer resolved the issue.

There were no entries in the printer error log and they don't require user codes.

Thanks for all the input, this forum is a wonderful resource.
